MidKent College students discover Rochester Riverside opportunities at careers fair
Countryside recently attended the annual careers fair at MidKent College in Medway, sharing opportunities in the construction and property industries in the area.
The Countryside team provided students with an overview on the wide variety of roles available in the sector, helping them to make informed choices about their future career path.
The event was attended by Vicki Deal, Group Recruitment Business Partner for Countryside who discussed the potential opportunities available and the benefits of joining the apprenticeship programme available at Rochester Riverside, Countryside and Hyde’s £419m landmark regeneration scheme in Rochester.
Rochester Riverside, which will comprise 1,400 new homes, is supporting the young people of Medway through an apprenticeship scheme with Joe Brennan Training (JBT), with five apprentices currently working on-site across a variety of trades.
MidKent College is one the largest further education and training providers in the South East, offering an extensive range of learning and training services from two campuses in Gillingham and Maidstone in Kent. MidKent College has been providing education and training in Kent for more than 100 years.
