Countryside’s Clapton development, Quartet, has been shortlisted at the Housebuilder Awards 2021

Housebuilder awards

Quartet, our striking North London development opposite Clapton Common, has been shortlisted for Best Community Initiative at this year’s Housebuilder Awards.

The Housebuilder Awards are run by Housebuilder magazine, the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and in partnership with NHBC. The awards look to recognise innovation and excellence in the sector and have become the most coveted in the industry.

The Community Initiative award looks to reward developers that have demonstrated how they have worked with the local community to ensure new developments or schemes have enhanced and improved the local environment.

Through Quartet, Countryside was able to demonstrate how it engaged with the local community of the Tower Court Regeneration Programme to create a forward-thinking development, featuring high-quality and much-needed contemporary homes.

Located in Clapton, Quartet benefits from a busy and culturally diverse residential neighbourhood – known for being home to Europe’s largest Haredi community. The council, architecture and design team and Countryside worked extremely hard to find common ground through extensive consultations and produce modern-day living that respects the densely populated community.

Countryside has a reputation for high-quality design and innovation, and this shortlisting reflects our commitment to building on this reputation. We look forward to the awards ceremony later this year and congratulate all other finalists.
