Countryside wins Gold and Silver at the WhatHouse? Awards 2022

On Friday 18th November, we joined housebuilders from across the industry to celebrate this year’s WhatHouse? Awards.
During what was a fantastic evening, we are proud to announce that two of our schemes, Royal Hill Park and Rochester Riverside, were awarded Gold and Silver awards respectively,
These highly regarded awards celebrate excellence and innovation within the housebuilding industry, recognising enterprising, customer-focused housebuilders and housing associations, who work alongside an equally innovative supply chain to produce top-quality housing.
Recognised for its successful alliance with the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB), Royal Hill Park in Redhill, Surrey was awarded Gold in the Best Partnership Scheme category. Representing a strong example of how a developer can effectively partner with a charity to deliver an inclusive neighbourhood, the former 16-acre community living service site has been transformed into a new neighbourhood, with 25 homes offering inclusive accommodation for RNIB residents and 77 much-needed private homes, all set within a charming woodland setting and surrounded by beautiful, sensory-led landscaping.
Rochester Riverside, our £419m joint venture regeneration scheme with Hyde in Rochester, Kent, received Silver in the Best Exterior Design category. Transforming a 74-acre brownfield site into a new mixed-tenure community of 1,400 homes and high-quality amenities, the architecture at Rochester Riverside has been inspired by the Medway area so that this modern development not only provides much-needed homes, but also complements and enhances the local area from a visual perspective.
As a leading UK mixed-tenure developer, we are determined to uphold our reputation of delivering high quality new homes with innovative designs, and these awards are testament to the hard work and commitment of our team and partners.
