Countryside shortlisted for four First Time Buyer Awards

First time buyer readers' awards

We are proud to have been shortlisted for four coveted award categories at this year’s First Time Buyer Awards.

The awards recognise developments and homes that uphold the values that first-time buyers across the UK value when looking for their first home and we are extremely pleased to be acknowledged for our work.

Across the four shortlistings, two of our flagship schemes were recognised for their contribution to the local community. Beaulieu, our joint venture project with L&Q in Essex, was shortlisted for ‘Best New Development in the South’ and ‘Best Large Development’, while South Oxhey Central in Hertfordshire was shortlisted for ‘Best Urban Regeneration Project’. Both developments embody the values Countryside holds dear and are cherished by the residents who now call them home. These shortlistings testify to the quality of work across the business to breathe new life into these pockets of land and delivering on the government’s plans to boost housebuilding for a new generation of young homeowners.

The top award shortlisting – ‘Private Developer of the Year’ – highlights our commitment across the Group to creating places people love and is a testament to our 60-year track record in developing communities across the country. We are looking forward to building on our reputation for creating high-quality homes and working with our partners to activate spaces in order to unlock their full potential.

All four award shortlistings reinforce our position as a developer that first time buyers can trust, and we endeavour to continue providing affordable and sustainable new homes for generations to come.

We are looking forward to taking part in the virtual awards ceremony with First Time Buyer Magazine and the rest of the shortlisted entries.
