Bliss annual charity football match

Countryside, the UK’s leading mixed-tenure developer, has raised £28,000 for Bliss, the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick, by hosting a charity football tournament with its key partners and supply chain in the West London and Thames Valley region.

Hosted at Powerleague Shepherd’s Bush, the tournament was won by Foxtons, who ran out as eventual winners in a closely fought final with Callan Construction. Following the trophy ceremony, the day culminated in a cheque presentation to Bliss by Daniel King, Managing Director, West London and Thames Valley, Countryside.

Daniel King, Managing Director, West London and Thames Valley, Countryside, commented: “We’d like to thank all our partners for their generosity, which has helped us collectively raise a significant amount for such a good cause. Congratulations not only to Foxtons on their well-deserved victory, but to all the teams for their footballing skills on the pitch and their fundraising efforts off the pitch.

Taking the time to give something back to the wider community and our future generations is a really important part of the way we operate at Countryside and we’re already looking forward to next year’s tournament.”
