Countryside recognised nationally at NHBC Pride in the Job Awards

Seal of Excellence award NHBC

Countryside has received 16 NHBC regional Quality Awards and three Seals of Excellence at this year’s NHBC Pride in the Job awards. These wins highlight the great expertise and attention to detail of our brilliant construction managers across the country.

Celebrating its 40th year, the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards recognises quality construction site management from across the industry and the people who oversee the delivery of new homes. Every single year, the awards showcase the best talent managing construction sites up and down the country who are working endlessly to ensure that targets are met, milestones are reached, and processes are up to standard. From 11,000 eligible contenders, just 450 across all regions of the UK have been recognised for their work.

The awards over the course of the last 40 years has promoted best practice and helped refine what it means to be the best site manager there is. It is only through effective and thorough construction site management that the homes and communities that we need to create are delivered on time for the areas that need them the most.

Spanning from the north west to the south east of England, we are incredibly proud of the 16 construction site managers that have secured a ‘Quality Award’ within their respective regions – showcasing their commitment to not just the finished product but their on-site teams. Many congratulations to Tom Storer, James Sullivan, Stephen White, Ben Maguire, Matthew Gilbert, Pavel Vassilijev, Tony Shopland, Jamie Tye, Thomas Moore, Andrew Barker, Lee Connors, Richard Marriott, John Merry, Paul Ricks, Anthony Stone and Plamen Ivanov for their tremendous work.

Further congratulations to Thomas Moore, Paul Ricks and Plamen Ivanov who have been awarded a Seal of Excellence for their work at Aura, Warwick Road and South Oxhey Central (Phase 2) respectively. These commendations highlight the exceptional work of Thomas, Paul and Plamen’s teams.

As we move towards 2021, we are looking forward to building on our reputation and creating new communities that people love.
