Countryside Partnerships partners with Box Up Crime to deliver innovative new programme in Brent

As part of our commitment to support local initiatives that benefit the lives of residents and communities in the areas we operate, Countryside Partnerships is proud to partner with Box Up Crime to provide an annual programme of boxing classes and mentoring support to the young residents of Brent.
This valuable programme will target vulnerable Children and Young People considered to be at risk of gang membership and crime. Through early intervention and engagement with Box Up Crime, at risk individuals are supported before statutory service involvement is needed.
As the development delivery partner of Brent Council in the regeneration of Peel Precinct, South Kilburn Estate, we are thrilled to offer this opportunity to Children and Young people across the London Borough of Brent. Our partnership with Box Up Crime will support a minimum of 80 children and young people each week between January to November 2023. The programme will provide free boxing, mentoring and creative activities to young people primarily aged 7 to 19 at The Granville Community Centre, opposite the Peel Precinct.
At Countryside Partnerships, we aim to build diverse communities that enable people to live healthy, happy, and sustainable lives where their aspirations are achieved. We look forward to building on the existing projects we have established with Box Up Crime in London throughout 2023 to improve the lives of young people across the London Borough of Brent.
