Countryside Partnerships donates over £30k to children’s hospice charity, Demelza!
Throughout the last couple of years, our colleagues have been fundraising for children’s hospice charity, Demelza, which provides clinical and emotional support across Kent, south-east London and East Sussex for children with serious or terminal conditions, and their families.
Marking the culmination of the team’s fundraising activity the team presented a cheque for £30,818.15 to Demelza.
The funds will help support the vital work the charity does in providing clinical care, therapies, specialised activities and practical support across Kent, south east London and East Sussex, for children with serious or terminal conditions, and their families.
The team’s charitable efforts for Demelza have ranged from an annual golf day for its sub-contractors at Westerham Golf Club in Westerham, Kent – complete with competitive challenges including ‘closest to the pin’ and ‘longest drive’ – through to sales of furniture from show homes across its development portfolio.
