As we celebrate Black History Month, for the first time at Countryside, it is important for everyone to know the significance of this celebration. This month celebrates the fundamental role played by people of African and Caribbean descents in shaping the British history which is often overlooked, ignored, or even distorted by many.

Leading mixed-tenure developer Countryside Partnerships has joined forces with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Make Space for Girls, a charity which campaigns for parks and public spaces to be more welcoming to teenage girls, to develop an industry-leading approach to inclusive design in public spaces for young people.
