By train, Birmingham is only an hour and a half away while London can be reached in less than 2 hours 15 minutes. You can also head north into the Lake district or travel all the way to Edinburgh by rail.

To the south of the city, you’ll find Manchester Airport, which offers both internal flights and international flights to destinations in Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
