Name: Roma Sondhi
Role: Graduate Trainee
It's a great feeling being on site and having the support of the site team. I'm treated no differently as a woman on site to how a male would be treated and that's a great feeling to have. At Countryside we are passionate about getting women into construction. While it is encouraging to see how far we've come there is still a long way to go, that is why it is essential we highlight these issues in order to bring about change.

Name: Marie Taylor
Job: Group Health & Safety Systems Manager
I joined Countryside straight from college without many qualifications, which didn’t disadvantage me at all. Countryside provided me with the training and mentoring to be able to improve my qualifications, skills and ability. I started in the print room initially and was offered an opportunity in the Health & Safety team a year later, I’ve now been with the team for over 15 years and have been given various opportunities to develop both personally and professionally within that time, to where I am now.
