Women into Construction
At Countryside we are proud to have partnered with Women into Construction, supporting women wishing to work in the construction industry, to address gender inequality.
We are supporting a new Women into Home Building Employment Programme in collaboration with the Home Builders Federation and other housebuilders. The programme aims to recruit women into Site Manager roles across England, no experience is necessary, but candidates must be 18+, have GSCE English and Maths grade 4 or equivalent and be able to commit to a full time training position should they be successful.
We are looking for enthusiastic women, who are willing to learn and find out more about this growing sector in construction. The unique funded 3 week Insight Programme will prepare candidates to apply for the Trainee Site Management roles with each company. It includes:
- An online Insight training week hosted by all 9 employers, HBF and WiC
- 2 weeks on-site work placement in locations across England
- 1-2-1 support, provided by WiC, including travel and childcare expenses whilst on placement
- Guaranteed interviews with participating employers.
To find out more and register for the online information session on Tuesday 31st January 2023, 11am, please go https://women-into-construction.org/women-into-home-building-programme/.
