Yorkshire fundraiser reaches new heights

The site team at our Manor Woods development in Kirkbymoorside, Yorkshire has raised an incredible £1,735 for a local mental health programme, by conquering the top of England’s highest mountain peak.
Hearts and minds
Together, they took on the 978 metre high Scafell Pike in the Lake District, to raise the funds for local mental health programme Train Our Minds (T.O.M), a cause close to their hearts.
Train Our Minds provides free gym sessions for males, aged 18-35, to improve their mental health and is supported by MFC Foundation.
The site team pushed themselves to the limit to complete the walk and raised almost £1,000 more than the original target of £750.
Strength and unity
Chris Penn, Managing Director, Yorkshire, Countryside, commented: “This wasn’t an easy challenge to take on but the team conquered it and raised vital money for a worthy cause. We’re all proud of everyone who took part, and this achievement is a true testimony to the strength and unity of our team.”
