Wickedly wonderful Halloween inspiration

Set the scene for your Halloween party with a warm and eerily inviting outdoor display. We really felt the chills when we put this super-simple look together and all it took was a bit of imagination (and a lot of pumpkins). 

Here stacks of wooden crates - filled with pumpkins of all colours, shapes and sizes - sit alongside stems of pampas grass and old-fashioned hurricane candle lamps. 

A fairy lit wreath acts as a stunning focal point and autumn leaves are scattered across the front step for the finishing touch. 

But there’s much more to come. Do you dare to step inside?

Devilishly delicious 

When it comes to welcoming people into our homes, we have a few tricks up our sleeves and a little arrival treat is always well received. Here we spun spider webs in and around glasses of blood red cocktails - and topped it off with as many other cool and creepy accessories as we could get our hands on.

A spellbinding sight

For this sophisticated, yet spooky, centre-piece we used nature as our guide, with sleek white sticks and pampas grass forming the base layer and mountains of white pumpkins piled above. An array of dried flowers, natural objects and candles were then woven in between to create something truly unique - in about 15 minutes. The secret to creativity is to have fun and play around with your ideas. 

Cosy not creepy

However, if you’re planning a quieter night in, some subtle seasonal additions will add a sprinkle of sorcery. Here, we’ve simply dotted some pumpkins around the living room, so all you need to do as darkness falls is light a couple of candles, curl up on the sofa and hide away from those fright night movies under a blanket.
