We asked a selection of our Yorkshire buyers what they love about their home and they didn’t disappoint. Find out why they chose Yorkshire - and why you might want to too!

David and Natasha

First up is David and Natasha who moved more than 300 miles from Basingstoke to live in Yorkshire: “We’d always dreamed of a property in a semi-rural location up north, closer to our loved ones and with scenic walks on the doorstep,” explains David.

“Location was a very important factor for us. We’re keen walkers, so finding somewhere we could enjoy long weekend walks was a dream of ours, but having local shops and amenities close by was also important.”

Simon and Caroline

Simon and Caroline weren’t planning a move, but an afternoon drive led them to City Fields in Wakefield and they fell in love with the style, character and space of the show home.

It was the openness of the development and the different style of houses that attracted them to the development itself and the open-plan kitchen / dining space is their favourite room in the house.

Whether they’re cooking meals or having friends and family over, they like that they can be together.

The family are settled in their new home now, enjoying lower energy bills and meeting lots of fellow dog walkers on their long canalside walks.
