WE’RE SUPPORTING ‘MISSION CHRISTMAS’ WITH CASH FOR KIDS

This November, Cash for Kids will once again launch its biggest appeal of the year to ensure that thousands of local children have a present to open on Christmas morning.
We couldn’t be any prouder to announce that we are supporting this amazing charity and ask that you join us in helping to make this Christmas the best one yet, by taking a gift donation to one of our participating developments.
Every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, but with 1 in 3 now living in poverty, the heartbreaking reality is that without this initiative, thousands would be facing a Christmas without so much as a toy to unwrap.
But, Cash for Kids can’t do it alone. The charity relies on the generosity of others and that’s why we are asking our friends, families, colleagues and customers to join the mission and show their support to local children.
How you can help
The toy appeal launches on 15th November and from that date you can take a new and unwrapped gift to one of our participating developments below or our Warrington/Leeds regional office. Just look out for Santa’s chimney in our sales offices, make your drop and leave the rest to us.
- TOY DONATIONS: Buy a gift for a child aged 0-18 years (we’ve listed a few ideas to help you out below)
- CASH DONATIONS: If you’d prefer to make a cash donation, then you can also do that via our fundraising page here
- FUNDRAISING: Team up with your neighbours, colleagues and family to raise money for the charity. This could be Christmas jumper days, cake sales, gift wrapping service, charity car wash, walk-a-thon's, host a movie night or even switch a Secret Santa gift and ask people to make a donation to Mission Christmas instead.
Gift Inspiration
0-3 Years: Teddies, musical toys, my first toys, rattles, books, play mats
5-7 years: Lego, art and craft sets, skipping ropes, make your own photo frame, snow globe, jewellery set, action figures, board games
12-18 years : Toiletries, electrical items (straighteners, mini-speakers), aftershave and perfumes, jewellery, puzzles, make-up, books, lunch boxes, duvet sets
As teenagers are a little harder to buy for, the charity doesn’t get as many donations for this age group and financial donations really help to fill the gap.
