Victoria and Michael: A new chapter begins at Rivers Edge
Victoria (27) and Michael (28) bought their first home together in September last year in preparation for the arrival of their second child. We couldn’t be happier to now announce their new baby Freddie is the first to be born at our Rivers Edge development in Warrington.
Their story marks the start of a brand new chapter for the family, as well as the area they’ve known and loved all their lives.
The couple were kind enough to share it with us - and here beautiful baby Freddie makes a star appearance, alongside his super cute big brother Louie (2).
Passing on memories
After living with Michael’s parents during lockdown to save their deposit, Victoria and Michael jumped at the opportunity to purchase one of the first plots to be released at Rivers Edge. Michael says they couldn’t have asked for anywhere better:
“I grew up around here and have lived here my whole life. My mum and dad still live around the corner. The rest of my family are all from this area too.
“It’s in between Warrington town centre and Stockton Heath, the transport links are all perfect and I used to play golf on the land where my house is built, back when it used to be a driving range. I love it.”
To the next generation
Michael adds: “The moment we moved in, there were letters through the door from those living nearby. We’ve been really fortunate with our neighbours - they’re pretty much the same age, they’ve got the same interests and kids a similar age to ours. We’ve got our own little WhatsApp group where we help each other out and have little get-togethers.”
“Bringing Freddie home to complete our family has been the icing on the cake.”
Plans for the future
Talking about her favourite thing about their new home Victoria said ‘it’s definitely the kitchen.’: “It’s got really nice skylights and it's a great room for entertaining guests. We sit in there most of the time and we’re looking forward to using the room a lot as we get into summer. It’s got nice patio doors out onto the garden as well.”
As the weather warms up, the self confessed garden lovers have plans to work on a family friendly garden space, complete with a climbing frame for the boys.
We can’t wait to hear more about their adventures as a family of four, and as a part of this brand new community.
