Take a tour of the showhomes at Eastbrook Village in Maghull

The showhomes at Eastbrook Village in Maghull have received a lot of attention since they opened in the summer, with many buyers keen to replicate the look.
As luck would have it, we’re joined by Beth at Lifestyle Interiors - the designers responsible for bringing two of the showhomes to life - and she’s here to show you how they go about creating something both beautiful and functional.
First up is ‘The Oakham’
The Oakham is a four bedroom detached house, and it has been designed with a family, who enjoy entertaining, in mind. They typically have two children between the ages of 8 and 14, and are likely upsizing to a bigger home.
The open-plan kitchen and family dining area is a great space for entertaining. It’s a really light and open space which holds multiple areas for cooking, dining and relaxing, whilst being able to enjoy the company of others.
Light and luxurious
It features skylight windows and french doors to really draw in the light and we’ve used a combination of greige, umber and crisp white softs and wallpapers to give it a relaxed, light feel.
We’ve also added plenty of cosy textures and warm wood finishes, along with the depth of the umber tone to add a more mature feel to the design.
Spacious and welcoming
Also, on the ground floor The Oakham features a separate lounge, with a large bay window and in this room we opted for a bespoke media unit and a large corner sofa, to ensure everyone can cosy up in comfort together.
Thoughtful and meaningful
The property also features a master bedroom with a large bay window and luxury en-suite, as well as three further well-proportioned bedrooms.
One of these was designed for a teenage boy and was based around a basketball theme, which included a bespoke themed headboard and age appropriate and relevant styling and artwork.
Another, was a Disney themed bedroom for a younger girl, around 8 years of age, with a bespoke, hand painted cartoon mural as the feature to the room.
Next is ‘The Esk’
The Esk showhome was designed with a younger audience in mind. It’s the smaller of the two show homes, but the floor plan still allows for a great entertaining space.
In this home we’ve chosen a grey and green colour palette, with a mix of black and oak touches - the black to create a smart finish and the oak to add some warmth to the spaces.
Bold and striking
Monochrome artwork adds to the young feel of the home, with some bold black and white prints.
And again, we’ve used lots of cosy textures throughout, including a boucle sofa to the lounge and chunky throws to the beds.
Cosy and warm
The second bedroom was designed as a guest bedroom, but one that features a fitted wall to wall desk to accommodate for the growing need for a working from home space.
