New showhomes opening in Greater Manchester

It’s an exciting month here in the Greater Manchester region, with new showhomes opening in two of our developments, Millbank Lock and Radclyffe Green.
Here to show you what you can expect to see is Rebecca Charles, Sales & Marketing Director at Killer5 Interior Design Studios, with a sneak preview of The Brathay, a beautiful three bed detached home filled with natural light.
When it came to designing our new showhomes at Radclyffe Green in Chadderton, the brief was demonstrate how the spaces will flex to different lifestyles and personalities.
If you’re looking for something that’s on-trend, but won’t date, this one’s for you.
A fresh perspective
“The Brathay at Radclyffe Green has a younger feel to it and the overall theme is very earthy and earthly. We played with lots of different textures and you’ll find a mix of fabric cushions, pottery, wicker, dried statement pieces, plants and natural woods throughout the house.”
Calming tones
“In the living room, the colour palette is warm, with splashes of yellow and terracotta.
The centre table is a crafted, natural wood and works particularly well against the black accents in the room, whilst the carved side table helps to bring in the textures.”
Natural textures
“The crisp linen sofa in the open-plan kitchen / family space features a soft fur throw and sits alongside a woven coffee table with seagrass mats. The focal point in the dining area, meanwhile, is the detailed, quilted leather dining set.
The desk in the corner can be used to work from home, but rather than being boxed off from the family, you can still feel a part of the day to day.”
Earthy colours
“The main bedroom showcases a dramatic, deep red and heavily textured headboard against the natural backdrop, whilst the second bedroom is a mix of yellow ochre colours and crisp shades of white.”
Ethereal designs
“Then last but not least, we took to the sky in the kid’s bedroom with a look that’s perfect for a daydreamer whose head is always up in the clouds.
The wallpaper is fun, but subtle and classic. There’s a little desk area to get homework done, as well as hot air balloons and stars accessories to inspire little ones dream big."
