It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for these Countryside buyers

New Buyers Sam & Steph

The countdown to Christmas is now well and truly on with families up and down the country decking their halls ready for the big day.

For these Countryside homeowners, Christmas this year will be made all the sweeter as they create new memories in their brand new homes.

‘Home in time for Christmas’ is exactly what these buyers wanted Santa to bring them this year and, with Countryside’s help, they’ve made it happen. We caught up with some of our most recent buyers who explained how it feels to finally relax in their new homes for the festive season - after what’s been an unexpectedly tricky year for all.

For Sam and Steph, continuing existing festive traditions and creating new ones in a home of their own is an exciting prospect: “Each year it’s been our tradition to watch a Christmas film every day from the 1st Dec, and this year we’re so excited as we get to carry that tradition on in our cosy new lounge - which will feel super festive. Because we’ve got so much space in our new Ellesmere home we’ve decided to have two trees this year; one in our lounge and one in the kitchen! We’ve also bought beautiful new decorations to complement our home’s fantastic features.

“Christmas Day itself is going to be amazing! We can’t wait to get in the kitchen this year to create our first proper Christmas dinner together - we’ve already put our meat order in with the local butcher! We may even bake a few mince pies in our gorgeous new kitchen too.”

New Buyers Tom & Millie

Tom and Millie are meanwhile marking their last Christmas as a duo, before the arrival of their new baby in 2021. For these two, a new Countryside home brings exciting opportunities for their growing family: “This year we’ve bought new decorations to suit the features of our Dunham home including a new Christmas tree to fit in our beautiful bay window in the lounge - it’s the perfect space for a tree!”

“The house itself is definitely a home to host in. We’re hoping to start some new traditions and have our very first family Christmas dinner around the table. In 2021 we’ll be welcoming our new baby and hope to spend many more Christmases in the new family home with our little one”.

Hollie and her little boy Sebastian, were given the green light to move into their new family home in time for a relaxed and peaceful Christmas.

“After my parents saw our New Stamford home they were straight down to the show homes to reserve their own. I love that we’ll all be living so close - 2021 will definitely start in the best way possible.

“We’re so excited now to spend time together as a family in our new Countryside home - although I’m slightly reluctant to christen my beautiful new oven with a turkey. I love how clean and new everything is!”

New buyers Matt & Nosheen

Matt and Nosheen were able to reserve their dream home in lockdown with the help of Countryside, and are now preparing for a family Christmas in their New Walton home.

“It feels great to be moved and settled in for Christmas this year. All through lockdown, it was the thing we most looked forward to and kept us going. Our family hasn't had the chance to come and visit us in the new home yet so we’re hoping to have some of them here on Boxing Day for party games and food! We can’t wait to share our new home with the family.”
