Get the show home look on a budget

If you’ve ever walked into one of our show homes, you’ll appreciate just how much thought and creativity goes into the design process. Their purpose is to show the true potential of every inch of space, sparking the imagination, and helping people to visualise what their life could look like.
Our buyers repeatedly tell us their dream is to recreate the same look. Whilst it might seem like an expensive and difficult task, you only have to look to Instagram to pick up tips from Countryside buyers on how to create show home style on a shoestring.
Create a focal point
A new build home really is a blank canvas, ready and waiting for you to add the finishing touches. For @countrysidedunham29 that was done on a blank canvas - literally! They painted this stunning piece of art shown here by themselves, saving a fortune and creating something truly personal in the process.
Upcycle!
It’s official… Upcycling is ON TREND and it’s easy to see why - it’s kind to the planet and our pockets.
As they await the arrival of a new little life, @thedipshome have given a new lease of life to this vintage rocking chair with some fresh thinking and a new combination of colour.
Think thrifty
For @longford74, it’s the smallest of changes that make the biggest difference. These bathroom frames have been transformed with a simple switch from one print to another, using nothing other than a free wallpaper sample and proving that creating the ‘wow’ factor, doesn’t have to cost a penny!
Go for it!
If you’re feeling really adventurous, then you could take a leaf out of @interiorbyrachael’s book! Panelling requires a lot of research, hard work and attention, especially if you’re doing it by yourself, but there’s so much to love about this look!
Eliminate unnecessary expenses
When it comes to styling a new build home, you’re already one step ahead of the rest! The entire space has been designed by a huge team of experts, who give great attention to every single detail, so you don’t have to.
Here @our.countrysidehome explains what that means to them: “We were really impressed by the high quality (included) finishes. This meant we didn’t have to pay extras on top of the property to get the high end look and feel.”
