First time buyers find their dream home at The Paddocks

Chris, a project manager (34), and Chloe, a performer (33), began their property search earlier in the year as first time buyers, looking to take the exciting leap onto the property ladder. Having lived with parents during the pandemic in Benfleet, Essex, Chloe and Chris were ready to begin their property search and find a place of their own. Having looked online, they discovered The Paddocks, Countryside’s development in Cressing, Essex.

Chloe says, “As soon as we saw the development, we fell in love with it. Having looked at some other new builds across the county, this was by far the best and the customer service was second to none.”

The couple bought a three-bedroom semi-detached house, The Laurel, and are now settling into their new home. Chloe says: “There were a variety of houses to choose from, but The Laurel really stood out to us when we saw it. It also has such a large garden - I never expected to have all this space in our first home and we feel really lucky to have found it.

It’s also been so reassuring for us to have a new build home. With energy costs looking to rise so dramatically this winter, having lots of energy-saving features included as standard makes us feel much better about managing the energy bills in our new home.”

Chloe says: “It was the location of The Paddocks that really sold the property to us. It has literally everything on the doorstep – it really offers the best of both worlds. With Braintree just down the road, you have access to Braintree Village, a shopping village with a fantastic selection of shops, new restaurants, a gym, a swimming pool and a cinema, all only five minutes away. In the other direction is Cressing Temple, which is a lovely place to walk, as well as playing host to lots of events, again only five minutes away.”

The couple are thrilled with their purchase and the wonderful service they have received from Countryside. Chloe says, “Our buying experience has been so smooth. So many of our friends have said that buying a house can be stressful, but this really wasn’t the case for us. The sales department were spectacular throughout the whole process and constantly communicated with us, so we knew what was going on.”

She adds, “Now we have moved in, we have started meeting other residents who all seem absolutely lovely. There is a strong sense of community here and we will definitely be recommending The Paddocks to family and friends.”
