His search began in Bishops Stortford, but he decided to expand his search and it was after he did so that he discovered The Paddocks, Countryside’s lovely new development in Tye Green, Cressing.
Having spent a weekend driving around the Essex area, he stumbled upon The Paddocks by chance and was blown away by the picturesque development and the standard of homes on offer. Cameron says, “Originally I was looking slightly closer to my parents but realising how much more I could get for my money in the Braintree area, I decided to expand my search – I am so glad I did, The Paddocks is far superior to the other developments I had already seen.”
Cameron bought a three-bedroom detached house ‘The Skylark’ and is thrilled to have moved into his first home.

I can see myself living here for years.”
Cameron was drawn to the development’s fantastic location and countryside setting. He says: “The development’s location was a real selling point for me, not only can you walk to Cressing Station with regular trains to London Liverpool Street, but you also have easy access to the motorway, all the amenities that Braintree has to offer including restaurants, bars and also a designer shopping outlet, Braintree Village as well as other nearby towns and villages – it’s hard to believe you have all this on your doorstep while living in a countryside setting.“
He adds, “The community feel at The Paddocks is really friendly too, which has made me feel so welcomed since moving here. I was also pleasantly surprised by how spacious the development is especially compared to other developments, which can feel claustrophobic. The Paddocks has lots of open green space as well as wide roads, so no one feels on top of each other – there are even dedicated walking paths leading you to the local train station, which is such a nice touch.”
When asked about his overall buying experience Cameron could not have been more complimentary. He says, “The sales team at Countryside have been truly wonderful and constantly kept me up to date on the buying process.” He adds, “I would absolutely recommend Countryside to friends and family – I had such a pleasant experience.”
