Find out how the Assisted Move Scheme can make your move stress free*

We caught up with Jason Gray, Business Development Director at The New Homes Group (TNHG), the UK’s leading Assisted Move & Part Exchange provider, on how easy it can be to move into a Countryside home.
Can you tell us more about The New Homes Group (TNHG)?
The New Homes Group was set up with the sole objective of working with housebuilders and their customers to provide Assisted Move & Part Exchange services. We’ve been operating for over 30 years, and our work with Countryside has been primarily in supporting them on the Assisted Move scheme. We manage around 11,000 applications every year and through this scheme we provide an end to end solution to help homebuyers sell their existing home and secure a brand new home within weeks.
How does the Assisted Move scheme benefit the customer?
Moving house can be an incredibly stressful experience and our main aim is to diminish the headache that comes with it and ensure customers are in a position to proceed with purchasing their new home as quickly as possible. By using the scheme, a prospective buyer can walk into a Countryside show home with confidence, knowing that even if they still have a home to sell, they could be in a position to reserve their new home in a matter of weeks. A comprehensive valuation report is provided, evidencing comparable property selling prices and realistic market pricing advice from three local high-street agents, who know the area well. If the customer is in agreement with the suggested marketing price, TNHG will instruct two local high street agents to market the property, drive viewings and financially qualify any offers for the customer to consider. The customer doesn’t have to worry about estate agency selling fees either, as these are paid by Countryside as another added benefit of using the scheme. Once the customer has accepted a suitable offer on their existing home, they can then proceed with paying a reservation fee and secure their dream home.
On top of this, should the customers’ home still remain unsold by the end of the agreed time period (normally six – eight weeks) and the countryside home they desire is still available, they can opt to continue under the scheme until such time as they are sold, or look to appoint a new selling agent themselves and look to sell their current property directly without any tie in or cost.
Our experts will actively manage all selling agents involved on your behalf and, crucially, manage all solicitors within the housebuying chain below to ensure the legal sales progression proceeds as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Who can use the Assisted Move Scheme?
Anyone. Any of Countryside’s potential buyers looking to buy a new build can make use of the scheme. If you’re upsizing, downsizing in value and size or even if your current property is a unique sell, such as a listed building or barn conversion, we can assist with your move.
The New Homes Group’s Assisted Move scheme is currently available at Brook Valley Gardens, and the team are on hand to offer you expert advice. To find out more visit Countryside Partnerships, call 020 3813 5025 or email [email protected].
