Festive Fundraiser Raises £1.5k for Mission Christmas

On 9th and 10th December our Warrington Head Office was filled with festive spirit! The Manchester and Merseyside regions went to great lengths to raise money for Mission Christmas, an amazing initiative set up by the charity ‘Cash for Kids’ that aims to ensure every child living in poverty has a gift to open on Christmas Day.

In November, the region’s showhomes became drop-off points for people donating to the toy appeal and to support the charity even further, Warrington’s Christmas jumper day saw the office awash with colour while fundraising activities took place throughout the day.

A Christmas quiz and secret santa tombola were also held, while a staff sale saw former show home items including cushions, vases and candles sold to our wonderful employees. The donations have been flooding in ever since and a whopping £1500 raised for Mission Christmas.

That brings the total raised by Countryside to date to more than £3600 and there’s still time to donate online if you want to help us reach our £5000 target by the end of the month!

Thanks to each and everyone of you who has shown their support - the donations you made will bring a smile to faces of hundreds of children this Christmas and the overwhelming generosity you have shown has been a heartwarming reminder of what we can achieve when we all come together.
