Beaulieu wins commendation at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2020

FTB Highly commended award

We are proud to announce that Beaulieu has been ‘highly commended’ for Best Large Development at this year’s First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards. The awards, currently in their 11th year, seek to celebrate organisations that have demonstrated excellence in producing top-quality homes for aspiring buyers across a range of criteria.

The ‘Best Large Development’ category is for developments that have used the best design and quality to create an affordable, desirable and inspirational environment and that has provided additional facilities to benefit the local community and surrounding neighbourhoods.

One of the most important new developments in Essex, Beaulieu is a sustainable urban expansion for the growing city of Chelmsford. Set within the majestic former parkland of King Henry VIII’s Palace of Beaulieu, the landmark 610-acre development will ultimately deliver 3,600 new mixed tenure homes. Fantastic new community facilities, parks and open spaces have already been delivered. These include Beaulieu Square Neighbourhood Centre which provides residents with local shops, health services and a community centre on their doorstep, alongside Essex’s first all-through primary and secondary school, and a day nursery and education centre. Future phases will also include a second primary school, hotel, business park, relief road, and a new train station.

Countryside was also ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Private Developer of the Year’ category.’

Securing these commendations is a testament to the hard work of all those involved in our projects, and we are excited to be able to continue creating the places people now happily call home.
