Over recent years, Little Hulton has seen extensive redevelopment of its historic mining land. This regeneration has brought an abundance of recreational open spaces to the area as well as industrial businesses offering employment opportunities to the local community.

Leisure 

There is great access to local shops which will cover all your day to day needs. Close to home is The Ellesmere Centre, a covered precinct with a good selection of high street favourites as well as banks, a post office and a selection of cafes.

The Trafford Centre is just 8 miles away with a large number of shops, restaurants and a multiplex cinema. For rainy day fun, head over to Trafford Park and try your hand at skiing, snowboarding or skydiving at Chill FactorE.

Salford Quays is under 10 miles away and home to open water swimming, The Lowery Theatre, shopping mall and cinema as well as Mediacity where you will find the headquarters of the BBC & ITV.

Manchester is just 20 minutes by train.

Schools & Education

Great schools are already part of the Little Hulton community. There are 9 primary schools rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED within a mile from The Fairways at Brackley Village. For secondary aged kids there is a wide variety of schools to choose from within 2 miles, all rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’. For further education opportunities both Bolton University and Manchester University offer a wide range of diverse courses and degrees.

Transport

The Fairways at Brackley Village is in an excellent location for getting around. The M61 motorway is under 2 miles away with links to the national motorway network. Walkden railway station is easily accessible with trains into Manchester taking just 18 minutes.

For cyclists, the NCN 55 skirts the development and from here you can ride all the way into central Manchester without using roads. For those all important holidays, Manchester International Airport is under half an hour by car.
